Mix it Up!

Vest: Justice (haha, don't judge) Sweater: F21, Skirt: H&M

I decided to mix things up with this outfit. First, I put my hair up into a high bun which is very unusual for me since I kind of stick to my hair straightened and down on a daily basis (people would never know it's naturally super curly). But, I thought this outfit needed a change from the straight locks. and then I decided to also throw on the fur vest to add an unexpected touch. I like summer items (floral skirt) mixed with winter pieces (vest) It adds an interesting edge to any outfit! Do you have any tips on making an outfit edgy? Let me know!

The Loft

I really love the way this outfit turned out. I love the different textures, the way the colors work together, and especially the way it looks on me! I have a petite frame and I'm pretty short (5'2) so sometimes I can look a little stumpy (I guess that's what you'd call it haha) in some of the outfits I put on. But I have never been the type to not wear something just because of my height. Like when people say you can't wear wide leg pants if you are short? Helllll no! I'll wear them but I'll make sure to wear heels :) But anyway, I feel like this outfit makes me look super tall and lean and I love that! If any of you guys have a local Ann Taylor store, definitely check it out now! They have amazing pieces at the moment, I was practically drooling over the knit sweaters and corduroys. I really want these pants in the green as well, but I suppose I will wait so I don't feel too guilty about shopping tehe. 

Auburn!

So, I went auburn! I wanted a change for the fall, and lately I have been obsessed with dark reddish brown hair, so beautiful! actually, I really love the singer Rihanna's crazy fire truck red hair, but that's a little too daring for myself. Baby steps though :)

Classic

 Sweater: Old Navy, Belt: GAP, Everything Else: Forever 21

Love the classic combination of stripes and denim. Modernize the classic by adding some funky shoes or playing with proportions. Happy Columbus day!

I wore this when it was actually cold outside this week...funny how today I wore a sundress due to the heat! Only New England will one day be 50 degrees, and the next hit 80. Hoping that it will dwindle down quickly though, as I am not a summer heat person...and I have waaay too many clothes I want to wear for fall! 

It was ironic too because today I went to Octoberfest (when it feels like July), which every year is in the Commons and there is food, music, and stands you can buy homemade crafts. I ended up buying this starfish cuff that I can not wait to show on the blog! I know for sure it will be a common accessory in my wardrobe

I've been OBSESSED GUYS with the new lipstain colors I find in CVS

I've bought all different brands including Cover Girl, NYC, Maybelline, and my 

personal favorite: Revlon Just Bitten

They have the shades and vibrancy of a lipstick but it's marker form so it doesn't smudge, stick to you hair, or end up on your coffee cup! I highly recommend them, it's pretty much all I wear in my posts.
